Grandbrothers

Grandbrothers, a piano/experimental duo from Dusseldorf, Germany, create music using a self-built system of electromagnetic hammers to trigger a grand piano, acting as a drum machine. Their music consists solely of sounds from the grand piano. In 2025, they released "Elsewhere" under the labels __and__others, a work that blends electronic, abstract, ambient, and modern classical styles. Previously, in 2023, they released "White Nights" and "Late Reflections" under City Slang, both falling under the genres of stage & screen, score, electronic, and classical, with styles ranging from modern classical to ambient. Other notable releases include "All The Unknown" (2021), "Bloodflow Remixes" (2018), and "Open" (2017). Experience dreamy sequences and driving beats with Grandbrothers, a duo that bridges the gap between the classical and the technological.
