HÊJA NETIRK & RICO DANTA

Hêja Netirk, a Kurdish artist residing in exile, is gaining recognition for her feminist approach to songwriting within the Kurdish music scene. In her current project, Kîne em? – Who are we?, she collaborates with Colombian musician Rico Danta on beats and synthesizers, blending modern Kurdish poetry with traditional singing. The duo's unique sound, Electro Tembûrvan Saîd, takes listeners on a journey from Kurdistan to the Hamburg harbor.
