In the electronic music scene of Seoul, South Korea, IDIOTAPE stands out as a trio comprising Dguru, Zeze, and DR. Formed in 2008, they debuted with the EP "0805" in 2010, marking their entry into the industry with critical acclaim. Their music is characterized by a unique fusion of synth-driven rhythms and the powerful beats of acoustic drums, reflecting influences from Korean classic rock of the 1960s and 1970s. Over the years, they have released several studio albums and singles, all met with praise. IDIOTAPE's sound can be found on releases such as "Too Old to Die Young / Sorry to Greta" (2020), "Dystopian" (2017), and "Tours" (2014), among others, showcasing their genre-defying musical style.
