Swiss-German duo PLEASURE ISLAND, comprising members zaharaa drekk and Najesh, have made a significant impact since their 2023 debut at Mensch Meier in Berlin. Affiliated with the Berlin label Mystic Tales, they specialize in a distinctive blend of sharp Psytech and driving Techno, creating an immersive experience that transports listeners on a journey. Known for their motto, "Own the sound and the trip is yours," their music aims to shut off everyday life in the frontal cortex with each new bassline. Previously active in the downtempo and techno scene through projects like zaharaa drekk and Najesh & Artisoko, they now focus on their passion for "Mushroom Techno," a unique fusion of Psytechno elements and playful Psytrance melodies.
