jiony, co-founder of Mexico City's VAA label, blends Nu-Jazz, Techno, Trip-Hop, Funk, and Latin music to create a distinctive downtempo sound. With over a decade of experience, he has collaborated with artists such as Nicola Cruz, El Buho, Matanza, and Nicolas Jaar. His live acts incorporate various instruments, live looping, and improvisation. As a DJ, jiony mixes genres like Hip-hop, Funk, Jazz, Latin, House, and Techno.
