Kalabrese is a versatile figure in Zurich's nightlife scene, active as a DJ, producer, promoter, and club owner for over a decade. His unique production style gained international recognition with releases such as "Chicken Fried Rice" in 2004 and the album "Rumpelzirkus" in 2007. The music combines minimal beats with organic funk rhythms and song-oriented structures. With the Rumpelorchestra, Kalabrese has toured extensively across Europe and North America. New releases under the label Rumpelmusig include "Dancing In The Dark / Dreaming Place" and "Let Love Find Itself/You Blow My Mind", both falling under electronic and funk/soul genres with disco and abstract styles.
