Kind of Dusk

KIND OF DUSK, based in Berlin, Germany, is a musical project that embodies transformation. The artist skillfully blends acoustic and electronic elements, merging neoclassical movements with avant-garde soundscapes. Lukas Streich, the producer and multi-instrumentalist behind KIND OF DUSK, constructs organic collages using intimate piano sounds, folk-inspired melodies, and innovative production techniques. The processed felt piano serves as a foundation for the compositions, upon which electronic and acoustic elements are layered - vocals, choirs, strings, modular sounds, arpeggiators, and a subtle bass. The music of KIND OF DUSK presents a lyrical and musical confrontation with self in a rapidly evolving society. It explores the tension between the new and the familiar, alienation and connection, as it navigates transitions between generations and times, breaking free from established patterns to create fresh structures and compositions. The project seeks transformation.
