Kollektiv Turmstrasse

Kollektiv Turmstrasse, a renowned German live act, is a significant figure in the global techno and house scene. With a diverse discography spanning labels like Kompakt, Diynamic, Cocoon, Fabric, and FFFR, the artist's sound is deeply rooted in house music, yet influenced by breakbeat, indie dance, techno, and even elements of hip-hop and modern pop. Known for his complex, progressive, and intriguing style, Kollektiv Turmstrasse focuses on the liberated space between driving house tracks and dancefloor anthems. The duo was founded in 1999 in Wismar, Germany, by Nico Plagemann and Christian Hilscher. Named after the street where both artists lived, they later moved to Hamburg. In 2021, Christian Hilscher left the group, leaving Nico Plagemann as the sole member of Kollektiv Turmstrasse. Recent releases include "Stalker: Cold Love EP" (2025) on Eleatics Records, showcasing a blend of progressive house, deep techno, and tech house styles.
