La Chatte, a three-headed musical collective formed in 2003 by Vava Dudu, Stereovoid, and Nikolu, creates a unique post-punk electro-zouk sound that is rhythmic, dark, distorted, strident, and chocolate-flavored. Known for their captivating live performances, the band has collaborated extensively with artists such as Vivid Astro Focus and Voin de Voin, leaving a trail of European shows in their wake. Their debut album, Bastet, offers a collection of realistic-futurist songs that could serve as the hypnotic soundtrack for a dance club filled with ethereal voices, sharpened guitars, and dark rhythms.
