Labess, meaning "all is well" in Arabic, presents a captivating blend of flamenco, Gypsy jazz, chaabi, and a pulsating groove. The band's sound, characterized by guitars, percussion, and potent vocals, creates an engaging atmosphere that encourages both dancing and dreaming. Frontman Nedjim Bouizzoul delivers expressive songs in Arabic, French, and Spanish, weaving tales of exile that touch upon the joys and hardships experienced during the transition from homeland to new land, and back again.
