Light Asylum

Light Asylum, a darkwave techno-punk project, was established in Brooklyn in 2007 by vocalist and producer Shannon Funchess. Known for their intensely cathartic live performances, they played a significant role in the revival of darkwave music in NYC and beyond, with Funchess' powerful contralto voice at the forefront.
