Lui Mafuta, known also as Bugtown Studios, is an electronic producer and live performer renowned for his rhythmical focus, drawing inspiration from funk and bounce baselines. His love for the Boom Bap of the 90s led to a career in beat building and organizing local events. Transitioning into the electronic music genre, he found freedom in downtempo, blending old-school synthesizers with modular experiments. His unique musical identity encompasses tonal stories that often incorporate elements of improvised jazz solos or rap parts, whether through bold vocals and lyrics or simple synthesizer ballads.
