Manu Louis

Manu Louis, a versatile artist hailing from Belgium, resides in Berlin and frequently visits Iberia. Known for his captivating performances that transition from passionate displays to spontaneous discotheques, he employs an array of electronic instruments and video projections featuring subjects ranging from pop stars to animals. His music blends high and low culture, creating thought-provoking juxtapositions. While his overall structure remains consistent, the elements he utilizes may differ, encompassing dissident chanson francaise, avant-garde composition, new beat, old hits, art-pop, and hard bop. In 2019, Manu Louis released "Cream Parade" on Igloo Records, following his debut album "Kermesse Machine" from 2017. Over the past three years, he has performed at over 300 festivals and clubs across Europe and Asia. Recent collaborations include visual artists Escif & Systaime, Garrett List’s 30-piece chamber orchestra Orchestra Vivo, Chinese singer/composer Song Yuzhe (Dawanggang), Spanish instrument builder/musician Truna, electronic collective Front de Cadeaux & Too Smooth Christ, and Belgian singer Carl Roossens.
