MELT

Psytrance artist MELT, known as Ben "Melt" in personal circles, has been a significant figure in the East Coast psytrance community of Australia for over 15 years. With roots in darkpsy through his DJ project Acousma, Melt's sound ventures into the heavier realms of psygressive—a fusion that offers dark, driving, and hypnotically groovy tracks. Melt's music is characterized by expansive atmospheres, intricately crafted synth work, and otherworldly growls, underpinned by some of the heaviest, grittiest basslines in the scene. His sets are designed to penetrate the psyche, creating an alien-tinged signal that incites movement. Melt's discography includes releases such as "Fusion Freqs" (2021), "Wolfenstein" (2018), and "Halucidations" (2017) under various labels, showcasing his versatility within the electronic genre, particularly in Psy-Trance and Techno styles.
