Psytrance artist MELT, based in New South Wales, Australia, has been a significant figure in the East Coast psytrance community for over 15 years. Known for his DJ project Acousma, Melt's music leans towards the heavier end of psygressive, characterized by dark, driving, and hypnotically groovy tracks. His soundscapes feature wide-open atmospheres, intricately sculpted synth work with an otherworldly edge, and some of the heaviest, grittiest basslines in the scene.
