nd_baumecker, a Frankfurt native, began his DJ career in 1991 at Romantica. Known for his versatile style, he covers a broad spectrum of dance music, oscillating between disco, house, techno, electro, broken beats, and pop. Baumecker's approach to DJing emphasizes surprise and experimentation, uniting disparate sounds, different keys, rhythms, and atmospheres. Since 2010, he has produced with Sam Barker as Barker & Baumecker, releasing four 12"s and two albums on Ostgut Ton. Their music operates between dancefloor and left-field electronics. In recent years, nd_baumecker's releases have been characterized by deep house and acid techno influences, as seen in his collaborations with Luzie and Gallegos Remix. His sets are marked by minimal house, house, and deep house styles.
