Siory

Siory

Siory, led by Ola Winnicka, is a musical collective established in 2019. Their sound straddles the boundaries of rap, incorporating punk energy, ambient, electronica, street-wise, feminine, and emotional prose from Winnicka's accordion. In 2021, choreographers and dancers Krystyna.Lama, Sylwia Marciniuk, and Wiktoria Sobota joined the group. Siory addresses social themes, sometimes creating anthemic, critical, and reactive narratives from a feminist or humanist perspective, as defined by their leader. Symbolically, Siory represents not just women's voices but the universal need for constructing a new, inclusive society—one free of chauvinism, sexism, in the spirit of radical empathy. Siory embodies diversity and encourages coexistence of various states and styles. They remind us of the importance of the body and often express difficult emotions through their work with it. Their discography includes the album "Serce" released by Dym Recordings, with new album "Magnum" currently in production. DYM Recordings is a record label based in Gorzów Wielkopolski, Poland, focusing on unique and passionate musical projects.

Siory a joué au See à Garbicz festival 2024.
