Otis Mensah

Otis Mensah is an interdisciplinary artist based in Berlin, known for merging literature and sound to create ethereal portraits centered around themes of body, family, and the Black church. Their work, rooted in a rich sampling tradition, draws from childhood memories, dreams, and nature. The debut album, "before the noise," explores fleeting youthful moments, kinship, and home through dreamy soundscapes and bold abstract rap rhythms—a journey through artistic trials and coming of age.
