German artist Roman Fluegel, active since the early 1990s, is known for his versatile style encompassing ambient, idm, house, techno, and electro. His discography includes releases under various aliases such as Soylent Green, Eight Miles High, Ro 70, and Roman IV. Fluegel's soundscape ranges from intense techno to delicate ambient and electro-pop tunes, showcased in his recent EPs like "Solutions" (2026) on Moozikeh Analog Room and "Impromptu Adventure" (2025) on FREE UNIVERSE. His sets are a breath of 20 years of rave, blending techno, house, Italo-disco, and obscurities. Fluegel has remixed tracks for numerous artists including Daft Punk, Radio Slave, Primal Scream, Ricardo Villalobos, and Chicks On Speed. His productions have been released on labels like Playhouse, Phonica Records, and Ongaku Musik.
