Electronic artist Sonic Rain, born Boris Garland, showcases a diverse and eclectic style that blends elements of groovy techno, breakbeat, and '90s rave. His musical journey began as a contemporary drummer and classical pianist before venturing into electronic music. Sonic Rain's productions feature a unique fusion of genres, with tracks like "The Shining," "Set Them Free," and his bootleg of "Sing It Back" by Moloko showcasing his hardgroove, groovy, and oldschool influences. Having made an impact on the Budapest Drum & Bass scene, Sonic Rain has played at various clubs and illegal raves. His live performances led to appearances on pirate radio and collaborations with promoting agencies, culminating in DJ sets on the A38 ship and at club Akvarium. Currently based in Budapest, Sonic Rain's music is gaining international recognition, supported by heavyweight DJs such as Nastia, Daria Kolosova, X-Coast, and Om Unit.
