Sonic Rain

Sonic Rain, the alias of Boris Garland, is a London-born, Budapest-raised artist known for his eclectic electronic style. Trained as a contemporary drummer and classical pianist, his music incorporates elements of hardgroove techno, trance, and '90s rave, creating an uplifting, musical sound. In 2025, Sonic Rain released "The Shining" and "Set Them Free," showcasing his groovy, oldschool club sound. He has performed at RSO Berlin and Boiler Room, with a standout opening set for Richie Hawtin in Budapest. His music has garnered international support from DJs like FJAAK, Daria Kolosova, Nastia, Pegassi, and Estella Boersma. With releases on Sweet Nothing, Transition, and Selected, Sonic Rain's momentum is undeniable.
