Sonido Gallo Negro, a collective of nine musicians from Mexico City, delve into an uncharted musical universe that transcends their Mexican and Latin American roots. Their soundscape incorporates elements from the Middle East, the Hispanic old world, and Africa, seamlessly woven within the Americas. Known for their psychedelic cumbia and chicha fusion, Sonido Gallo Negro's music is characterized by the inseparable combo of Farfisa, Fuzz, and Guiro sounds that transport listeners into an altered, mystical state. Their discography includes releases such as "Cumbia Salvaje" (2026), "Cumbiavision" (2026), and "Spirit Box" (2025).
