Sonido Gallo Negro is a Peruvian band that blends the psychedelic cumbia sound of the 70's with sub-genres like chicha, Amazonian cumbia, huayno, cumbia sonidera, and Boogaloo. Their music features the distinct sounds of Farfisa, Fuzz, and Guiro, creating an altered and mystical musical experience. Their first album "Cumbia Salvaje" was released in 2011, followed by "Paganismo" in 2024.
