Suricata

Multidisciplinary artist Suricata, born and raised in Mexico City and currently residing in Paris, bridges underground electronic music, classical music, and orally transmitted music. With a background in classical music, they create an afro/indo/-latin electronic identity using ethno-musical historical archives, field recordings, synths, piano, and self-constructed instruments. Their work explores identity and rituality, mixing cultural references and addressing social inequalities. They invite listeners to break barriers and feel without fear.
