DJ Tahira is a Brazilian artist known for his eclectic and instructive DJ sets that blend genres and eras, with a focus on African rhythms, Latin sounds, jazz, 70s funk, disco, and soul music. His productions have been released by various labels, including Concord Jazz, Musica Macondo, Bastard Jazz, Wonderwheel, and Hot Casa, among others. Tahira's work also includes two well-received compilation albums, "Levanta Poeira" (2018) and "Brasil Novo" (2022), and his netlabel EBS Diggin promotes contemporary sounds from the Brazilian underground scene.
