Tropeninstitut

The Tropeninstitut is a DJ collective and a show on Byte.FM. For over four decades, Basso Profundo, DJ Harm, and Diego de Cuba have been spinning their carefully selected vinyl through clubs, playing Mambo, Son, Salsa, Cumbia, and Bugalú. Their sets and mixes, such as Latin-Soul-Electro-Mambo Summermix (2020) and Afrocuban-Descarga-Non-Stop-Dancing-Minimix (2019), showcase a fusion of Latin styles like Cumbia, Salsa, Mambo, and Brazilian rhythms.
