Leipzig-based artist and DJ Valeska is known for her sets and mixes that feature a passion for evolving rhythmic structures, unconventional sounds, forceful stabs and kicks, and unsettling moods. On stage, her performances transition swiftly from soft embraces to heavy hits. She has contributed to Leipzig's Prepaid Records label on tapes and radio shows for Retreat Radio, n10.as, and Radio Alhara. Valeska is a member of Leipzig’s Pracht crew, co-founder of the event series rewind, the tape label Shell Tapes, and the DJ collective L1CK, which explores modern trends in club music.
