Wax Museum

Wax Museum, a Disco-Funk Riot collective, hails from Berlin. With six members representing various international backgrounds, the band seamlessly blends funk and disco rhythms with a punk ethos. Each member takes turns as the focal point, leading the audience through a kaleidoscope of grooves and colors that define Wax Museum's sound. Their music features contrapuntal melodies, intricate synthesizer sequences, layered percussion, and vocal choirs. Lyrically, they are eclectic, often leaning towards the absurd, with themes that hint at dipsomaniacal, forlorn socially disobedience. Their music transcends dance clubs and DIY band scenes alike. In Berlin, Wax Museum has played two sold-out shows at Urban Spree and performed at notable clubs and festivals such as Sysyphos and Fusion. They have toured outside of Germany twice and have already released three EPs.
