Wax Museum, a Disco-Funk Riot collective based in Berlin, is known for its international six-member lineup that blends funk and disco rhythms with a punk spirit. Each member takes turns as the front performer, creating a dynamic stage presence. Their music features contrapuntal melodies, sequenced synthesizers, layered percussion, and vocal choirs, with eclectic, at times absurd lyrics reflecting dipsomaniacal, forlorn socially disobedience. Wax Museum has played sold-out shows at Urban Spree in Berlin, performed at prominent clubs and festivals such as Sysyphos and Fusion, toured outside of Germany twice, and released three EPs.
