Aircraft, founded in 2011 in Kyiv, Ukraine, blends lo-fi sounds with gentle vocals reminiscent of early Depeche Mode and warm guitar motifs, echoing Cocteau Twins and A.R. Kane. Their music spans from light irony akin to John Maus to the depressive and gothic like This Mortal Coil, as heard in their latest album Sadhu (2023). Aircraft's music is popular on Spotify and TikTok, with tracks found in various playlists and Aeria going viral. Based in Berlin, they are a versatile DJ project active across Europe.
