Ayesha

Ayesha, a Brooklyn-based DJ and producer, weaves through percussion-based techno, breaks, garage, and various electronic genres. With a decade of experience in the club and warehouse party scene, Ayesha's performances are known for their playful curiosity and maximal body music tailored for the dancefloor. Her music, hypnotic, pulsating, and powerful, is characterized by meticulous sound design, spongy textures, and alien melodies. Ayesha's productions are unusually tactile and physical, crafted with deliberate consideration for how bodies move on the dancefloor. Her 2021 EP, 'Potential Energy,' marked the beginning of her rise, followed by subsequent releases on Fever AM, Control Freak, and contributions to NYC label Eto Ano’s ‘No Cash In Booth’ compilation. Her debut album, ‘Rhythm is Memory,’ released on Kindergarten Records in 2022, was widely acclaimed. Ayesha's live sets have been met with wide applause at MUTEK Montreal, Dekmantel, Nacht Digital, and Sustain Release. Her music, as fitting at a deep forest festival as it is in a sweaty basement or dark nightclub, continues to gain recognition as forward-thinking club music.
