BAKIR is an electronic music trio blending North African rhythms from the Maghreb with Middle Eastern melodies and Mediterranean maqams, creating a high-energy sound that combines traditional instruments, drum machines, and synthesizers, inviting movement and dance towards trance. Their fusion of oriental, ethnic, and industrial sounds offers timeless universality. The three musician collaborators, who have been working together for over a decade within the Baklawa Music collective, bring Marrakech and Marseille's musical Maghreb universe to life, creating original compositions with traditional influences.
