Barbara Preisinger

Barbara Preisinger, known as Slices Of Life, is a German DJ and label founder who has been an integral part of the Berlin club scene since the late 90s. With a career that began in Munich in 1996, she quickly became a regular at the green flokati room of the "ultraschall" club. In 1998, Preisinger moved to Berlin and started working as a freelance press and radio promoter for electronic music. She co-founded the label scape in 1999 with Stefan Betke aka Pole, and her musical preferences have since evolved towards House and Techno. Preisinger founded the 12inch vinyl label Slices Of Life in 2009, focusing on organic sounding and diverse club music. She is also the host of DEEP IN THE BOX events, which have been held at various Berlin clubs since 2015. Her musical style encompasses House and Deep Techno, with a passion for playing for the dancefloor. Notable releases on her label include works by Betke, Mike Huckaby, Baaz, John Tejada, The Mole, Dana Ruh, Losoul, Alexander Skancke, among others.
