Ben Klock

Ben Klock, born in 1972, is a renowned Techno DJ with a career closely associated with Berlin's Berghain since 2005. His monthly residency has been instrumental in his international success, allowing him to create immersive experiences rather than merely play to the crowd. Klock's signature style is marked by intricate narratives and a sense of flow, evident even in more compact sets. He gained recognition for marathon sets early in his career but continues to captivate audiences today. His releases on Ostgut Ton have become landmarks in the label's history, with standout tracks like "Dawning" and "Subzero." His album One (2009) is often cited as a testament to his production talents. As a remixer, he has worked with artists such as Kerri Chandler, Depeche Mode, Robert Hood, and Kenny Larkin. Klock also curates the label Klockworks, which showcases unique, high-quality Techno from artists like DVS1, Stef Mendesidis, The Advent, and more. In 2017, he launched the PHOTON event series, a blend of light, architecture, and music that has toured major cities worldwide. Recent releases include collaborations with Fadi Mohem on LAYER Records and remixes for Martyn. His sets are characterized by deep and dark Techno, often recorded live at events like Sound Warehouse Rave in Prague.
