Ben Nott

Ben Nott, a versatile figure in the electronic music scene, is a DJ, producer, events organizer, and nightclub owner based in Sydney. Known as Ben Nott-Blueprint, he has been instrumental in the Funktion One Audio Production scene. His musical journey began in the United States during the late 90s, where he was influenced by Chicago house and Detroit Techno legends such as Paul Johnson, Derrick Carter, Juan Atkins, Slater Hogan, and Kevin Saunderson. Over the years, Ben has toured extensively across the US, Europe, and Australia, playing at various clubs and festivals. He has shared stages with renowned DJs like Steve Lawler, Hernan Cattaneo, Danny Howells, Layo & Bushwacka, and Sasha. In the UK, he hosted his own club night, Ultra, which was recognized as one of the best in the country. In 2016, Ben moved to Sydney, where he has been a significant part of the city's underground music scene through his party, Blueprint. His sets are known for their emphasis on melody and journey, reflecting his belief that DJ sets are a story. Over the past decade, Ben has organized over 300 events in Sydney and Melbourne, featuring some of the world's top underground artists. In addition to his musical endeavors, Ben also owns The Lucky Cat, a restaurant in Sydney, which recently underwent a transformation after years of experience in the events and restaurant industry.
