Galina Ozeran, known professionally as Chikiss, is a Berlin-based composer, producer, and songstress with a diverse musical background spanning post-punk, minimal wave, experimental electronica, and live improvisation. Over the past two decades, she has released multiple full-length albums, EPs, mixtapes, and collaborations with artists such as Jaakko Eino Kalevi, Die Wilde Jagd, Mustelide, and many more. Her music is characterized by emotive and innovative soundscapes, often incorporating elements of synthpop, avant-pop, dark-jazz, spoken-word, dub, slow motion, cinematic, noir, metaphysical, philosophical, and experimental live electronic beats.
