Comagatte

Comagatte, born Serena Maria in 1992, hails from Molfetta. With a father who was a musician, she developed an early affinity for music at the age of ten. Her interest in Hip Hop culture deepened over time, leading her to write and improvise by 2008. Throughout her career, Comagatte has shared stages with numerous Italian Hip Hop artists, including Ice One, Assalti Frontali, Walino, Inoki Ness, Dargen D'Amico, NTo, Sangue Mostro, Mystic One, NoYz Narcos, DJ Gengis, Bassi Maestro, Turi, Francesco Negre, DJ Craim, Kaos One, Danno Bonnot & M1 (Dead Prez), among others. In 2014, she represented her hometown at the Femcees Festival in France and joined the HoldUp Team. Her work includes collaborations on an international female rap compilation album. Currently, Comagatte is working on her debut solo album while participating in various contests, jams, and live performances across Italy. Her music, often tagged as RAP on Soundcloud, showcases a blend of Hip Hop and Techno rap, with a focus on addressing sensitive issues about her country through an independent woman's perspective, laced with irony.
