German DJ/producer D-Nox, born in 1975, is a 1-time DJ Awards winner with over 25 years in electronic music. Known for his global travels as a DJ and releases on labels like Bedrock, Suara, Sudbeat, and Sprout Music (his own label), he has a particularly strong following in Brazil. Born in East Germany before the wall fell, D-Nox's passion for music was sparked by recording tapes due to limited access in his homeland. After moving to Düsseldorf, he became a professional DJ by 1993 and later worked as A&R for Tatsu Records, eventually founding Sprout Music in 2003. In 2004, he formed the duo D-Nox & Beckers, known for hits like "Jetlag Slave" and "Memory Cell."
