Decka

Decka, the alias of Jack Wallis, is a prominent figure in the techno scene. Raised on dubstep, punk, and UK techno, his musical journey began with early releases on SPE:C. In 2017, he co-founded Unterwegs, an imprint dedicated to promoting like-minded talents. His productions, characterized as pressurized, raw, and driving, have been released on top-tier labels such as Semantica, Tar Hallow, KEY Vinyl, AMTK+, and Token. In collaboration with Roseen, he also established Frameworks in 2023, a label that remains committed to techno's original essence. Notable releases include "Imaginary Places" and the subsequent remix album, featuring artists like Don Williams, DISX3, and Border One. Decka is known for his dedication to vinyl-only DJing, a practice he has maintained since the beginning of his career. His sets at Berlin institutions Berghain and Tresor showcase his clear-cut technique, extensive knowledge, and passion for techno.
