Don Plok

Don Plok, alias of Pablo Carpignano, is a versatile figure in the music scene based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. With over 16 years of experience, his music showcases a broad range of rhythms, characterized by the dominance of percussive sounds and synthesizers. His unique mixes create an engaging connection with the audience, blending various cultural influences, Afro/Latin music, Alternative Electronic genres, Dub, and Cumbias. In addition to his solo work, Don Plok is the founder of Guateque Soundz (2010) and manager of carnivals, parties, and festivals. He also established Dunumba Soundsystem in 2018, a collective promoting high-definition afro-caribbean bass culture, known for organizing large-scale street raves.
