dreadmaul is a German musician and DJ based in Mainz, known for his voodoo-inspired soundscapes. His music weaves tales of shamanic cults, raw forces, and lost myths, blending tribal elements with dark atmospherics reminiscent of the 90s oldschool hardware approach. In recent performances, he eschews computers entirely, relying on a modular system, synthesizers, live looping of traditional instruments like flutes and frame drums, and rattles, creating an immersive, hypnotic experience that transcends conventional drum and bass.
