Freak de l’Afrique

Freak de l'Afrique is a Berlin-based collective of DJs, MCs, and dancers specializing in modern African club sounds. Since 2012, they have organized events across Germany and played at various international festivals such as Red Bull Music Festival, Fusion Festival, Hype Festival, Splash, Documenta, and more. Their repertoire includes Afrobeats, Hip Hop, and Dancehall sounds. Notable SoundCloud releases include "Mam Eh" (DJ X-Trio Remix) in 2022, "Mama Eh," and "Akom" (Gafacci Remix), also from 2022. They have also shared mixes like the "30 Minutes Of - Amapiano" by Wallizz and the "African Valentine Mix" presented by DJ Nomi in 2021, as well as a "30 Minutes Of - Kizomba" mix by Ukai Ndame in 2020.
