Insanlar

Insanlar, a collective of Turkish musicians, initially formed in late 2010 as an in-house band for the Anatolian pop/rock revival series, Minipop. The group includes Cem Yıldız, Baris K, Alican Tezer, and others such as Kabus Kerim and Bahar from Baba Zula. Their music is a unique blend of shamanistic techno folk, deeply rooted in Anatolian Alewi religious poetry, and characterized by an energetic, almost punkish attitude. Their release "Kime Ne" on Honest Jon's label in 2015 propelled them onto the international stage. Recent releases include "Demedim Mi" (2019) under Rush Hour Records, showcasing a mix of electronic, folk, world, and country genres.
