Killabeatmaker
KillaBeatMaker, a prominent figure in the music industry for over 15 years, hails from Medellin, Colombia. With two distinct performance formats—DJ set and Live band—the artist collaborates with Guadalupe Giraldo (Tambora, gaita, and Vocals) and Yulian Perc (Alegre, congas, and voices). As a producer, KillaBeatMaker draws inspiration from the rhythms of Valle de Aburra and urban beats, blending deep bass sounds with Colombian music. Collaborations with various Medellin and Colombian artists, as well as international acts, are prevalent in his mixtapes and music. Currently, KillaBeatMaker is working on his upcoming album "INGA," preparing for a world tour. His performances encompass both DJ sets and the live band, Radiocaliente. KillaBeatMaker has toured across Colombia, Chile, and the US (SXWX), with plans for a European tour in summer 2021. He has shared the stage with notable urban Latin artists such as Bomba Estereo, ChocQuibTown, La Mala Rodriguez, Monsieur Perine, El Freaky Colectivo, and Cultura Profetica. Radiocaliente Music, a promising urban Colombian band from Medellin, combines cumbia, champeta, and other Colombian styles with hiphop and pop. The band started as a DJ/MC set in December 2010 in Medellin and has since grown into a six-piece live band. KillaBeatMaker has composed and produced the majority of the band’s released songs and the album “El ritmo de la calle.”
