King David, a German-based artist, is a reggae DJ known for his love of Jamaican music that began in his teenage years. He established King David Soundsystem in 1995, continually evolving it from a 500-watt system to playing for approximately 10,000 people by 2010. After being an active part of Berlin's reggae scene until around 2012, he returned in 2022 with King David Soundsystem 2.0. He is also the founder of Ital Breakfast Records and hosts a monthly radioshow on Heartical FM and Omy Radio.
