Kollektiv Turmstrasse
Kollektiv Turmstrasse, a renowned German live act in the global techno and house scene, has been influential since its formation in 1999 by Nico Plagemann and Christian Hilscher in Wismar. The duo's name originates from their shared residence on the named street. After moving to Hamburg, they built a compelling discography with releases on labels like Kompakt, Diynamic, Cocoon, Fabric, and FFFR. Since 2021, Kollektiv Turmstrasse has been a solo project of Nico Plagemann following Christian Hilscher's departure. His sound is deeply rooted in house music, with influences from breakbeat, indie dance, techno, and even hints of hip-hop and modern pop. The artist's work is characterized by its liberated space between driving house tracks and dancefloor anthems. Recent releases include the "Stalker: Cold Love EP" (2025) on Eleatics Records, showcasing progressive house, deep techno, and tech-house styles. Other notable works are "Unity Of Opposites" (2023), "YAP Remixes" (2023), "Rebellion Der Träumer" (2020), "Ribbon Reef EP" (2019), and various releases from 2016 to 2015 on labels such as Not Sorry Music, Connaisseur Recordings, Musik Gewinnt Freunde, Diynamic Music, and FFRR.
