Lui Mafuta, an electronic producer and live performer, is known for his rhythmical focus, rooted in a love for funk and bounce baselines. His music draws from the Boom Bap of the 90s, inspiring his endless beat creation and curation of local events. Transitioning into the electronic music genre, he found freedom in downtempo, blending old-school synthesisers with modular experiments. His unique musical identity features tonal stories that often incorporate improvised jazz solos or rap parts, whether bold with vocals and lyrics or simple synthesiser ballads.
