Magic Manfred, a Berlin-based artist, is known for his music rooted in Boogie Funk, House, Jazz, and Hip-Hop. As a musician, producer, and DJ, he has been active in the city's scene since 2019. He plays bass for Stella & The Longos and ZFEX, and can be found DJing at various Berlin venues such as Heidegluhen, Paloma Bar, and Orangerie NK. In addition, Magic Manfred leads his own band project, Combo Aspik, which takes inspiration from the Boogie and Jazz-Funk sounds of the early ‘80s. Their debut LP was released in late 2023 on the Berlin-based label Ouvo Rec. His DJ sets and mixes, showcased on Soundcloud, span genres including Old School, Garage House, and Classic, with a focus on the years 1992, 2000, and the US, UK, Canada, and Germany.
