Mathew Jonson

Mathew Jonson is a pioneering figure in electronic music, known for his unique, raw, and analogue sound. His music, a blend of techno, house, and tech house, is characterized by its live performance element, with drum machines and synthesizers shaped into captivating journeys. Jonson's career took off in the early 2000s, with influential releases on labels such as Perlon, Kompakt, M_nus, Cocoon, and ITISWHATITIS Recordings, the latter of which he later acquired. His discography spans various labels, including Crosstown Rebels and Fabric, where his "Fabric 84" mix encapsulated the essence of his live sets. Currently, he is working on his third studio album, a collaborative project featuring artists in Lisbon, where he now resides.
