Mehmet Aslan

Mehmet Aslan, a producer with Turkish roots, blends traditional folk music with contemporary 4/4 rhythms. Based in Berlin, he started at Hinterhof in Basel and has gained recognition from notable figures like Tim Sweeney and Acid Arab. His productions, which include edits and remixes of Turkish party anthems, have been signed by labels such as Huntleys + Palmers. As a DJ, Mehmet's sets showcase a fusion of house, techno, disco, world, and new wave sounds. His recent releases, including "Auguri" and "Senza Decoro," exhibit a mix of ambient, psychedelic, IDM, electronic, rock, new wave, post-punk, synth-pop, and experimental styles.
