Romanian DJ and producer Mihai Popoviciu, known for deep grooves, crisp precision, and irresistible energy, has built a career spanning over a decade. His signature sound was developed in his hometown Sibiu, where he started making music despite the lack of local dance culture or record shops. His first track was signed to International Deejay Gigolo in 2005, and subsequent releases followed on labels such as Bondage, Highgrade, Poker Flat, Bedrock, Dessous, and his own label Cyclic, established in 2012. Mihai's career has seen him play at renowned clubs worldwide, including Berghain and Watergate in Berlin, Fabric and The Egg in London, D-Edge in São Paulo, DC-10 in Ibiza, and more. His goal with every track and DJ set is to transmit the joy and energy that fuels his passion for music.
