nd_baumecker, known as Andreas Baumecker, began his DJ career in 1991 in Frankfurt. He gained recognition from Heiko M/S/O and Ata of Playhouse, leading to a residency at their WildPitchClub. Baumecker's style encompasses a broad spectrum of dance music, including disco, house, techno, electro, broken beats, and pop. He is known for his ability to unite disparate sounds, different keys, rhythms, and atmospheres on the dance floor. Since 2010, Baumecker has produced with Sam Barker as Barker & Baumecker, releasing four 12"s and two albums on Ostgut Ton. Their music operates between dancefloor and left-field electronics. Recent releases include the Running Back Mastermix Presents Wild Pitch Club series and Panorama Bar 07 on Ostgut Ton. Baumecker's DJ sets showcase a mix of minimal house, deep house, and house.
