Octave One, the Burden Brothers from Detroit, MI, are a family collective known for their contributions to techno music. Debuting with "I Believe" on the compilation "Techno 2: The Next Generation" in 1990, they have since performed worldwide and released influential dance anthems through their label, 430 West Records, including "Empower," "Nicolette," and "The X-files." They have also remixed tracks for various artists such as Massive Attack and DJ Rolando.
