Perera Elsewhere

Perera Elsewhere, a multi-award winning artist, is recognized for their experimental pop sound. Their music blends elements of doom-folk, Mica Levi, Dean Blunt, Jon Hassell, and Massive Attack. With releases on the Los Angeles based label Friends of Friends, they have produced three albums that showcase an evolving sonic imprint. Perera Elsewhere's work has been licensed for various projects, including Ava Du Vernay’s 'Queen Sugar' series and Apple's M2 chip promotional launch. Beyond music, they have also composed for moving image, theatre, and audio-visual installations for prestigious institutions. In 2022, Perera Elsewhere won the VIA awards for Best Act, and in 2024, they received Sony Music Germany’s Female Producer Award. Their published works have led to invitations from renowned institutions for studio sessions, workshops, teaching, and mentoring.
